NASA Gone?

Most people know NASA as an outstanding space craft and blasting off to space kind of place. Well now part of NASA is being shut down by the goverment. There will be no more space shuttles going up to space. The reason there will be no more going up to space is because the goverment is trying to save us money by shutting down part of NASA. There will still be people researching space but no one will be able to go to space but if something was to break in space there would be no one to fix the broken space machine. I think the goverment was wrong when they chose to shut down NASA because space is an important part of our world. What if there was going to be a giant astroid going to crash into the earth and one of the machines was broken and we had no clue that a giant astroid was going to crash into the earth? Maybe the goverment could have shut down a couple of fast food restrauntsto save us money or something other then space traveling. I I think that the goverment was wrong when they shut down NASA because space can effect our world in so may ways. Lets hope that the other half of NASA comes back soon
