Sure I'm Big, Wanna Cuddle?

Newfoundlands are the fourth biggest dog known to man. They're also one of the slobberiest, cuddleiest, and furriest. I myself have a Newfie(their nickname) everyone who sees him is scared or amazed, but really he just wants you to like,no LOVE him. However Newfies are known best as water dogs. They have webbed feet and are designed to swim.
 
Louis and Clark had a Newfoundland with them when they were exploring. When they were at sea they would have him swim in the ocean to hunt fish! His name was Seaman.
 
Newfies like mine, often develop hip problems, since they are so big. They also don't have much of a lifespan after ten years. I recommend Newfies for families because they are awesome family dogs and often times, love children( just don't let them think they're a pony!)
 
Newfoundlands were bred in Newfoundland, Canada that's how they got their name. It was okay for newfies to be in the snow that Canada delivered because Newfies have a very thick coat which should be brushed about every other day. People joke that once you brush a Newfie you can make a rug!
 
Like I said before, Newfies are feared but really their all about the cuddle! They want to make a good impression on YOU! And of course they want you to pet them, throw their ball and you guessed it, CUDDLE!!!!
